第１回熊本大学フォトコンテスト　募集要項

 　この度、熊本大学の魅力を伝える写真を募集します。応募作品は、駅やバスターミナルに掲出する広告や広報誌、公式ウェブサイトなどにおいて大学広報のために使用いたします。

 １．募集テーマ：「人と大学、熊本大学」

 ２．参加対象：熊本大学の学生、教職員

 ３．募集期間：２０１９年１２月２日（月）～２０２０年１月１４日（火）

 ４．賞（賞品）：最優秀賞　１点（賞状、図書カード１万円分）
　　　　　 　　　優秀賞　１～３点（賞状、図書カード５千円分）
　　 　　　　　　入選　　数点（賞状、図書カード千円分）

 ５．応募方法
・応募作品をメールに添付して提出してください。（大容量ファイル送信サービスも可。）
・ファイルはjpgフォーマットで、1作品当たり20MBを送受信可能な範囲とします。それ以上の場合は、大容量ファイル送信サービス等をご利用ください。
・複数の作品を提出する場合は、1作品ずつメールを分けて提出してください。（応募数は一人3作品までです。）
・メールの件名は「第1回熊本大学フォトコンテスト応募」とし、メール本文に次の事項を必ず記載してください。
　１）作品のタイトル（日本語で25字以内。英語では5word以内。）
　２）撮影日
　３）撮影場所
　４）写真の説明（日本語で80字以内。英語では20word以内。）※使用する際のキャプションの参考とさせていただきます。
　５）所属（例：医学部医学科3年）
　６）氏名（フリガナ）
　７）連絡絡先メールアドレス

 ７．応募規定
　応募者は、以下の応募規定項目の全てに同意したものとみなします。

（１）応募作品について
・応募は一人3作品までとする。単写真のみとし、組み写真は不可とする。
・応募作品は10MB以上の容量であることを推奨する。
・応募者本人が撮影した未発表（ブログ、ソーシャルメディア等を含む）のオリジナル作品であり、かつ、同じ作品を別のコンテスト等に応募していないものに限る。
・応募作品に写る人物について、個人が特定できる場合は必ず本人（被写体が未成年の場合は親権者）から事前の承諾を得た上で応募すること。
・応募作品に他人が権利を有する著作物が写っている場合は、その著作物の権利者から事前の承諾を得た上で応募すること。
・応募作品は公序良俗に反したり、第三者を誹謗中傷・プライバシーを侵害する恐れがあるもの、また、法令等に違反するような作品又は犯罪行為に結びつくような作品でないものに限る。
・応募作品について第三者と問題・紛争が起きた場合、応募者自身の責任にて解決するものとし、熊本大学は一切責任を負わない。
・熊本大学は、応募者の個人情報を、本コンテストに関連する目的以外では使用しない。
・メールによるデータ送信中の事故、データ破損等について、熊本大学は一切責任を負わない。

 （２）応募作品の著作権と使用権について
・応募作品の著作権は、撮影者に帰属する。
・熊本大学は、無償で応募作品を使用する権利を有する。
・熊本大学は、熊本大学が許可した者に、応募作品を無償で使用させる権利を有する。
・応募者は熊本大学及び熊本大学が許可した使用者に対して、著作者人格権を行使しないことに同意する。
　（具体例）
　１）応募者は作品のトリミングや色調補正など、オリジナルデータを改変することに同意する。
　２）使用者が作品を使用する際のクレジット表記の有無は熊本大学が決定する。
・作品タイトルは日本語/英語両方、もしくはどちらかの言語で記入すること。一つの言語で記入された場合、作品を公表するに当たって、その翻訳を熊本大学で行うことがある。

 ９．結果発表
・結果は熊本大学公式ウェブサイトで告知します。
・審査内容についての問い合わせ、クレームは一切受け付けません。
・受賞者には、連絡先メールアドレス宛に個別に連絡します。連絡後1週間以内に返信がない場合は、受賞を辞退したものとみなします。

1^st Kumamoto University Photo Contest Application Information

 　We are pleased to announce the first Kumamoto University Photo Contest. Entries will be used for university public relations in advertisements posted at train stations and bus terminals, public relations magazines and official websites.Prizes will be awarded to select entries.

1. Theme: “People of Kumamoto University”
   
   
2. Submission Eligibility: Kumamoto University students, staff and faculty
3. Application Period: Monday, December 2, 2019 – Tuesday, January 14, 2020
   
   
4. Awards: First Prize (1 Recipient) – 10,000 yen value Tosho card
   　　　 　　　 Second Prize (1-3 Recipients) – 5,000 yen value Tosho card
   　　　          Honorable Mentions (Several) – 1,000 yen value Tosho card
   
   
5. Submission Procedure

• Please submit your photo as an email attachment. (Large file transmission services is also acceptable)
• Files must be in jpg format, at around 20MB in size. If the file size exceeds 20MB, please use a large file transmission service.
• If submitting multiple photos, please submit them separately. (Up to 3 entries are allowed per person)
• The subject of the email should be “Application for the 1st Kumamoto University Photo Contest”, and be sure to include the following in the email text.
  1) Title of the work (up to 25 characters in Japanese, up to 5 words in English)
  2) Date that the photo was taken
  3) Location where the photo was taken
  4) Photo description (up to 80 characters in Japanese, up to 20 words in English) * This will be used as a reference for captions.
  5) Your Affiliation (e.g. 3rd year medical school)
  6) Your Name (also in Katakana)
  7) Your contact email address

7. Application Rules
   　Applicants will be deemed to have agreed to all of the following rules:
   
   (1) Regarding Entries

• Entries are limited to 3 per person. Only single photos are allowed, not combined or collage photos.
• It is recommended that the file size exceeds 10MB in size.
• Only unpublished, original works taken by applicants who have not submitted the same work to other photo contests will be accepted.
• If someone in the photograph is identifiable by face, etc., you must have the consent of that person before submission (consent of the parent if the subject is a minor).
• If there is a copyrighted work for which another person has rights in your photo, you must receive that person’s consent before submission.
• Photos including inappropriate content, slander, infringe on privacy, and are in violation of laws and/or regulations will not be accepted.
• If there is a problem or dispute with a third party regarding the submitted work, the applicant will be responsible for the resolution. Kumamoto University will not be liable.
• Kumamoto University will not use the applicant’s personal information for purposes other than those related to this contest.
• Kumamoto University is not responsible for accidents or data corruption during data transmission by e-mail.

 (2) Regarding copyright and usage rights of entries

• The copyright of the entry belongs to the photographer.
• Kumamoto University has the right to use the submitted works free of charge.
• Kumamoto University reserves the right to allow third parties to use the entry free of charge.
• The applicant agrees allow Kumamoto University and others authorized by Kumamoto University rights regarding the entry.
  (Concrete examples)
  1) Modifying the original data, such as trimming the work or correcting the color tone.
  2) Kumamoto University decides whether or not credits are displayed in regard to the work.
• Please enter the title of the work in both Japanese / English or either language. If written in one language, translation may be done at Kumamoto University when publishing the work.

9. Announcement of Results

• The results will be announced on the Kumamoto University website.
• Inquiries and complaints regarding the examination process will not be addressed.
• Winners will be contacted individually via the contact address provided during application. If we do not receive your reply within one week after contact, it will be assumed that you decline the award.
