熊本大学キャラクターイラストコンテスト　募集要項

 　この度、熊本大学の魅力を伝えるキャラクターイラストを募集します。応募作品は広告や広報誌、公式ウェブサイトなどにおいて大学広報のために使用いたします。 　熊本大学全体を象徴するもの、学部ごとの特徴や五高記念館などの歴史遺産を表すものなど、あなたが思う本学のイメージをキャラクターイラストで表現した作品をお待ちしています。

１　応募資格：熊本大学の児童、生徒、学生、教職員

２　応募期間：2020年12月1日（火）～2021年1月25日（月）

３　応募規程：
　・未発表のオリジナル作品とします。他の公募に応募中の作品も不可とします。
　・彩色、画材などは自由。CGも含めます。カラー、モノクロいずれも可です。
　・サイズはアナログ、CGいずれの場合もA4（210mm×297mm）とします。アナログの場合はスキャンまたは写真撮影しデータ化の上、提出してください。jpeg形式で5MB以内とします。
　・1名（または1団体）につき最大3点まで応募可です。例えば7学部ごとのキャラクターイラストで一式とするような場合は、1つのデータにまとめ1点として提出してください。

４　提出方法：
　・提出方法はメールのみとします。提出先のメールアドレスへ添付ファイルとして送付してください。複数の作品を応募する場合は、応募作品ごとにメールを分けてご提出ください。

５　提出先：
　・下記のアドレスに送信してください。

　・メールの件名は「熊本大学イラストコンテスト応募」とし、メール本文に次の事項を必ず記載してください。
　　１）作品のタイトル（日本語で25字以内。英語では5word以内。）
　　２）作品の説明（日本語で80字以内。英語では20word以内。）
　　※作品タイトルは日本語/英語両方、もしくはどちらかの言語で記入してください。一つの言語で記入された場合、作品を公表するに当たって、その翻訳を熊本大学で行うことがあります。
　　３）所属（例：医学部医学科3年）
　　４）氏名（フリガナ）
　　５）連絡先メールアドレス

６　賞（賞品）：以下のとおりとする。
　最優秀賞　１点（賞状、図書カード１万円分）
　優秀賞　１～３点（賞状、図書カード５千円分）
　入選　　数点（賞状、図書カード千円分）

７　結果発表：
　・熊本大学公式ウェブサイトにて発表します。
　・審査内容についての問い合わせ、クレームは一切受け付けません。
　・受賞者には、連絡先メールアドレス宛に個別に連絡します。連絡後1週間以内に返信がない場合は、受賞を辞退したものとみなします。

10　注意事項：
　・応募者は、以下の項目の全てに同意したものと見なします。
　　１）応募作品は公序良俗に反したり、第三者を誹謗中傷・プライバシーを侵害する恐れがあるもの、また、法令等に違反するような作品又は犯罪行為に結びつくような作品でないものに限る。
　　２）応募作品について第三者と問題・紛争が起きた場合、応募者自身の責任にて解決するものとし、熊本大学は一切責任を負わない。
　　３）熊本大学は、応募者の個人情報を、本コンテストに関連する目的以外では使用しない。
　　４）メールによるデータ送信中の事故、データ破損等について、熊本大学は一切責任を負わない。
　　５）受賞者は受賞作品の原本を熊本大学に無償で提供するものとし、熊本大学は、無償で受賞作品を使用する権利を有するものとする。
　　６）受賞者が受賞作品を使用する場合は、熊本大学の同意を得なければならない。
　　７）熊本大学は、熊本大学が許可した者に、受賞作品を無償で使用させる権利を有する。
　　８）受賞者は熊本大学及び熊本大学が許可した使用者に対して、著作者人格権を行使しないことに同意する。
（具体例）
　１） 応募者は作品のトリミングや色調補正など、オリジナルデータを改変することに同意する。
　２）使用者が作品を使用する際のクレジット表記の有無は熊本大学が決定する。

Kumamoto University Character Illustration Contest Application Information

 　We are looking for character illustrations that convey the charm of Kumamoto University. The entries will be used for university public relations in advertisements, public relations magazines and official websites. For example, the character as the symbol of KU, those which represent each faculty, and those related to historic buildings (GOKO, etc.).

1. Submission Eligibility: Kumamoto University students, staff and faculty

2. Application Period: Tuesday, December 1, 2020 – Monday, January 25, 2021

3. Application Rules
・Only unpublished, original works taken by applicants who have not submitted the same work to other  contests will be accepted.
・Coloring, painting materials, etc. are free. CG is also included. Both color and monochrome are acceptable.
・The size is A4 (210mm ×297mm) for both analog and CG. In the case of analog, please scan or take a picture, convert it into data, and submit it. It is not more than 5MB in jpeg format.
・Up to 3 entries are allowed per person or group. Submissions containing multiple characters (for example, a set of character illustrations for each of the seven faculties) will be counted as a single submission.

4. Submission Procedure
・Please submit your illustration as an email attachment.
・If submitting multiple illustrations, please submit them separately.

・The subject of the email should be “Application for the KU Character Illustration Contest”, and be sure to include the following in the email text.
　1) Title of the work (up to 25 characters in Japanese, up to 5 words in English)
　*Please write the title of your work in both Japanese and/or English, or in either language. If it is written in one language, the translation may be done at Kumamoto University when publishing the work.
　2) Illustration description (up to 80 characters in Japanese, up to 20 words in English).
　3) Your Affiliation (e.g. 3rd year medical school)
　4) Your Name (also in Katakana)
　5) Your contact email address

6. Awards:  First Prize (1 Recipient) – 10,000 yen value Tosho card
　　　　　 Second Prize (1-3 Recipients) – 5,000 yen value Tosho card
　　　　　 Honorable Mentions (Several) – 1,000 yen value Tosho card

7. Announcement of Results
・The results will be announced on the Kumamoto University website.
・We cannot address inquiries regarding the examination process.
・Winners will be contacted individually via the contact address provided during application.  If we do not receive your reply within one week after contact, it will be assumed that you decline the award.

10. Precautions
Applicants will be deemed to have agreed to all of the following rules:
・Illustrations including inappropriate content, slander, infringe on privacy, and are in violation of laws and/or regulations will not be accepted.
・If there is a problem or dispute with a third party regarding the submitted work, the applicant will be responsible for the resolution. Kumamoto University will not be liable.
・Kumamoto University will not use the applicant’s personal information for purposes other than those related to this contest.
・Kumamoto University is not responsible for accidents or data corruption during data transmission by e-mail.
・The winner provide the original of the prized-work to Kumamoto University free of charge.
・Kumamoto University has the right to use the prized-works free of charge.
・Before the winner use the prized-work, it must obtain the consent of Kumamoto University.
・The applicant agrees allow Kumamoto University and others authorized by Kumamoto University rights regarding the entry.
(Concrete examples)
　1) Modifying the original data, such as trimming the work or correcting the color tone.
　2) Kumamoto University decides whether or not credits are displayed in regard to the work.
