特殊詐欺被害防止について（Regarding the prevention of special fraud damage）

文部科学省より、標記の件について以下のとおりご連絡がありました。近年、電話やビデオ通話を⽤いて、警察官や検察官を名乗り、信⽤させた上で⾦銭や個⼈情報をだまし取る詐欺（ニセ警察詐欺）の⼿⼝が確認されています。犯⼈は、パソコンやスマートフォンのビデオ通話を利⽤して制服姿や⾝分証の提⽰を⾏い、あたかも“本物の捜査員”のように⾒せかけて被害者を信⽤させます。このような⼿⼝は全国的に多くみられており、警察では注意を呼びかけています。警察官や検察官が、個⼈のスマートフォンに突然ビデオ通話をかけることはありません。怪しいなと思った時は、電話やビデオ通話を切って、

・対⾯で最寄りの警察署へ御相談ください

・警察相談専⽤電話（#9110）に御相談ください

相⼿⽅から教⽰された番号には、決して折り返さないでください。また、特殊詐欺の電話の７割が国際電話番号を使⽤しています。外国からの電話は、必要な申込みをすれば停⽌することができます。普段、外国と電話をする⽤がない⽅は、詐欺被害を防ぐため、この機会にお申込みください。

Notice to Students on Preventing Special FraudDear Students,The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology has contacted us regarding the above matter.In recent years, there have been confirmed cases of fraud (fake police scams) where perpetrators pose as police officers or prosecutors using phone calls or video calls to gain trust and steal money or personal information. The criminals use video calls on computers or smartphones to show up in uniform or display identification, deceiving the victims into trusting them as 'real investigators.' Such scams have been commonly reported nationwide, and the police are urging everyone to remain vigilant.Police officers and prosecutors will never suddenly call your personal smartphone for a video call. If you feel suspicious, please hang up the phone or video call and:- Consult at your nearest police station in person.- Call the police consultation hotline (#9110).Do not call back any numbers provided by suspicious parties.Also, it is noted that 70% of fraudulent calls come from international phone numbers. You can stop calls from abroad by applying if necessary.
