Kumamoto University was founded in 1887 in Kumamoto City, which is in the central area of Kyusyu Island in the southern part of Japan. It is known as the "City of Forests and Water" for its beautiful mountain views of Mt. Aso. The City also has a lot of historical and cultural sights, as well as a modern downtown. |
