If you are a privately-financed student, please arrange your travel to Japan so that you can arrive in Kumamoto between September 28 and October 2.
Japanese Government Scholarship students should arrive in Kumamoto during the period between September 28 and October 2. If you do not arrive on the designated date or you do not take the pre-designated route to Japan, your travel expenses will not be paid for and you will not be entitled to receive an arrival allowance.
If you plan to reside in the International House (hereinafter referred to as the "I-House") of Kumamoto University, please be aware that you cannot move into your room before September 28 nor on weekends. In addition to that, the I-House will hold an orientation session after your arrival. Therefore, you are advised to arrive in Kumamoto during the period between September 28 and October 2.
