Pre-Arrival Information  Orientation Handbook

You should go through the following necessary procedures as soon as possible after your arrival in Kumamoto. Your tutor or the staff at the International Students Office will help you to do them.

	1) Alien Registration Card	* At Kumamoto City Hall
	2) National Health Insurance	* At Kumamoto City Hall
	3) Bank account	* At the Kokai-bashi branch of Higo Bank
	4) Postal savings account	* At the Kurokami Postal Office (Monbukagakusho scholarships are paid into the postal savings accounts)
