Average Living Expenses for One Month

>> Food expenses: 40,000 to 45,000 yen

   - A single apartment in the International House: 5,900 yen
   - Private apartment: 30,000 to 60,000 yen
>> Other: Utilities cost, Health insurance fee, etc.


Tuition Exemptions

If a tuition exemption is approved, all or half of one's tuition will be exempted. The averaged percentage of applicants exempted in the past 5 years is as follows:
>> 50% of undergraduates
>> 80% of master's course students
>> 90% of PhD course students

Scholarships

Some scholarships for international students in Japan can be applied for in the students' home country before the student enters Japan.

Those students who score high marks on the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students are eligible to receive a study grant for privately-funded international students. (Monthly Stipend: 50,000yen)

4) Short-Term Students Exchange Promotion Program

International exchange students who will come to Japan to study for a period of one year under student exchange agreements with our university. (Monthly Stipend: 80,000yen)

Part-time Jobs

We also have a career counseling section to introduce part-time jobs following the requests from the students. There is a limit to the maximum working hours for the students with part-time jobs.
