Housing and Life

There is an International House for foreigners located approximately 1.5 kilometers east of Kurokami Campus. It currently houses over 100 exchange students and researchers. It takes approximately 10 minutes by bicycle from the International House to the Kurokami Campus. Foreign students can live in the International House for 6 months (extensions possible) after they arrive in Japan. Near the university there are many apartments and high-rise condominiums that students are living in. Rent in these places ranges from 30,000 to 60,000 yen a month. It is necessary to pay a deposit equal to 3-months rent when one first moves into an apartment. There are convenience stores and shopping arcades near the university where one can go shopping.

School Cafeteria

On campus there is a school cafeteria, a convenience store, a bookstore, a travel agency, a cafe, a barber shop, and several bank ATM machines. All of them provide food and/or daily goods to students at inexpensive prices and contribute to students' lives.
