Admission for Japanese Government Scholarship Students

Types of Students
The Japanese government scholarship students can enter Kumamoto University as the following types of students:

1) Graduate Level
>>Research Students
>>Teacher-Training Students


2) Undergraduate Level
>>Undergraduate Students
>>Japanese Studies Students


Types of Recommendation
1) Acceptance from Overseas
>>Embassy Recommendation

Recommendation by a Japanese embassy or consulate general through the Japanese diplomatic mission in the recruiting country.

>>University Recommendation
Recommendation by the accepting university through the academic and student exchange agreement.

2) Acceptance inside Japan
>>Domestic Selection

Screening within Japan for privately-funded students to become Japanese government scholarship students.
