University of Nottingham Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Asia) Visited Kumamoto University
University of Nottingham Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Asia) Professor Ian Gow and Vice-Dean
of the Faculty of Arts Professor Peter Stockwell visited Kumamoto University
from January 30 to February 1, 2006. During their visit, they discussed the partnership
between the two universities being carried out through The Japan-UK Higher Education
Programme of Collaboration.
Professor Gow, who is also the Provost of the University’s Ningbo Campus in China,
gave a special lecture entitled “The University of Nottingham’s International
Strategy” at Kumamoto University’s Kurokami campus on January 30, 2006.
