Fulbright Memorial Visit from American Teaching Staffs to Kumamoto University
20 teaching staffs from the Japan-America Education Committee Fulbright Memorial, from America paid a courtesy visit to Kumamoto University on the 23rd June 2003.
At first, a welcome speech was presented in English by vice-president Hirayama before the teaching staffs proceeded to a field trip to the University School for Disabled Children in the Faculty of Education.
Following the field trip, an outline and the present status of various matters in the Faculty of Education were discussed.
Next, a friendly gathering with public relations officers to graduate students, and a session on problems and suggestions for cultivating Japan-America teaching staffs was actively participated,
bringing a further development to a closer and friendlier relationship.
