The Liaison Office in Tokyo was established inside the Campus Innovation Center (Minato-ku, Tokyo) in April 2004.
The office aims to achieve cooperation between Kumamoto University and businesses, as well as provide information about Kumamoto University to businesses,
the government and other public offices, and organizations located in the Tokyo metropolitan area.
The Campus Innovation Center has multi-purpose rooms and an international conference room set up in it. In the center, it is possible to hold seminars,
formal meetings and collaborative research gatherings, as well as exhibit research processes and do public relations activities.
The liaison office also distributes pamphlets and provides information about the university and its entrance exams to international students living in the Tokyo area.

The Health Care Center is located in the Kurokami North Campus.
Three physicians and two nurses are available during normal school hours for consultation and treatment.
The service is free to all members of the University community.

Environmental Safety Center
The Environmental Safety Center was established in 1999 and works for the environmental and safety problems of the University and its surroundings.
The activities of the Center are as follows:
(1) Treatment and management of wastes containing harmful materials
(2) Monitoring of harmful materials
(3) Teaching and researching about environmental and safety problems
(4) Providing information about environmental safety
